I’m pleased to announce that my book, Beyond Authority and Submission: Women and Men in Marriage, Church, and Society has been released today! There have been some glitches with Amazon about when the book will be available, but there are plenty of opportunities to purchase the book today.

I am looking forward to reading this! Suffering under many years of poor leadership in the church has made me want to dig deeper to understand what God teaches in His Word.

I’m VERY interested in reading your book, but I’m a starving writer who can’t afford to buy it, so I would love a free copy. I promise to review it on Amazon and GoodReads (at least) if I get one!

Thank you for this book, Rachel. Bought it on Kindle and we’ve (my husband and I are reading it out loud) clicked on many of the footnote links. It’s obvious much work and care went into the research and writing. My husband ordered another copy to give to our Pastor. This is a very necessary resource for the Church today.

Very excited to read this! I have met my book spending limit for this month, but hope to get to it soon! As an Egalitarian who respects the tension of my stance, I am excited to see you address this topic from another theological perspective.

Many women and men do not understand the importance of God’s directives in the Word as it relates to submission in marriage and submission in the church body. So different are men and women, yet with mutual loving & serving hearts, our Jesus, the Living Word, will show His will and way. Jesus never fails, although we do, and it seems this book is a long time coming. I pray your book emphasizes the truths oGod’s people know deep down because we know Jesus, while it builds up the body of Christ! May your book unite the body and bring rejoicing.
